NEEDHAM, MA — The Newton-Needham Regional Chamber of Commerce is offering scholarships to high school seniors in the area. The chamber is offering three scholarships to students who live in or attend school in either Needham, Newton or Wellesley. The scholarship is worth about $2,000 and will be deposited to the student's college or university after they finish their first semester. Scholarship recipients will be chosen by a panel of local leaders. The deadline to apply is April 13. The chamber said decisions will be made based on a combination of the application's completeness and accuracy, letter of recommendation and responses to essay questions.
