A family-friendly outdoor fundraising event will feature a live band, food truck, games and activities for all ages, and a mobile auction. International Literacy and Development seeks out overlooked people groups to provide literacy and economic development opportunities that will allow them to move from surviving to thriving. Whether working with refugees in Dallas or other marginalized people groups around the world, literacy opens doors to access needed knowledge. When coupled with economic development programs, people are empowered to lift themselves from poverty to flourishing.
