BURLINGTON, MA — The candidates in two Burlington town election races recently appeared for BCAT candidate forums ahead of the April 10 election day. Local reporters posed questions for the three Board of Selectmen candidates and two Shawsheen Tech School Committee candidates. In the Board of Selectmen race, incumbents Joe Morandi and Michael Runyan face challenger Shari Ellis. In the Shawsheen Tech race, Michael Kelly and Christine Kim are both running for an open seat. The candidates gave opening and closing statements, asked each other questions and responded to questions from reporters Rich Hosford of BCAT, Melissa Russel of Wicked Local and this reporter.
