Guitarist looking for band

Description

Experienced guitar player looking for a group of like-minded folks to jam with. Mid-thirties male, enjoys an adult beverage, been playing for 20+ years. I am not a virtuoso but I know what I'm doing and can fill in capably on rhythm or lead guitar. I don't have bass gear but I can, and have, handled that duty in bands before. Same thing with keys--I can get you some chords and simple melodies on keyboard if necessary. I can sing and have split lead vocals in other bands but I'm most comfortable doing harmonies and maybe taking a song or two per set as lead. I am not a gear nut but the gear I do have is pro level and will sound good in just about any dynamic. I would be willing to play out at some point but my goal here is really to have some fun, make noise and make friends. I can play competently in just about any style except jazz. Rock/pop covers from '70s-2000s would probably be where I would lean in terms of material but willing talk about other ideas too. Here's what I listen to and find myself playing along with at home most of the time: -My Morning Jacket -Shins -Wilco -Springsteen -Father John Misty -Fleet Foxes -Pink Floyd -Zeppelin -Jason Isbell -REM ...and pretty much any song on classic rock radio is in my repertoire even if I don't call it up all that often. I should also say I am willing to be a supporting player in an original project too if the style is a fit. Anyway, email me if you want to talk about getting something together.
