A workshop designed to educate and empower family caregivers. Caregiver Superhero Society is partnering with First Baptist Church to offer the Dealing with Dementia Workshop. This workshop was developed by the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving (RCI) and provides tips and strategies for caregivers on best practices for caring for their loved ones and themselves. Caregivers who attend the six-hour workshop will receive a copy of the Dealing with Dementia Guide. This guide provides over 300 pages of information and solutions to problems caregivers face every day. If you are a caregiver or know someone who is caring for a loved one with dementia, don’t miss this important opportunity. Lunch is provided.
