Press release from the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce : Erin Bishop 03/29/2021 Dillon Hereth has been named the Boys & Girls Club of Westminster Youth of the Year for 2021 - 2022.   The Youth of the Year title is a prestigious honor bestowed upon an exemplary young person in recognition of leadership, service, academic excellence and dedication to live a healthy lifestyle.  Dillon Hereth has been named the Boys & Girls Club of Westminster Youth of the Year for 2021 - 2022.   The Youth of the Year title is a prestigious honor bestowed upon an exemplary young person in recognition of leadership, service, academic excellence and dedication to live a healthy lifestyle.  Dillon will serve as an ambassador for the Boys & Girls Club of Westminster as well as a role model for all club members.  Dillon has shown extensive leadership at the Boys & Girls Club, serving as a Leader in Training, Junior Staff member and the Captain of the Club's first Robotics team.  In addition, Dillon earned his Eagle Scout badge through a project he organized at the Club where he built mobile Lego tables from wood salvaged during the building's renovation.
