PRINCETON, NJ – A funeral procession for former mayor Phyllis Marchand will be held Tuesday between 10 a.m. to 10: 20 a.m.
Marchand, 81, died last Thursday. She was mayor of Princeton for 14 years.
The community has been invited to gather and pay tribute to Marchand on the sidewalk at the intersection of Witherspoon Street and Paul Robeson/Wiggins Street as the procession passes.
The township has also arranged for free parking at the YMCA/YWCA, Community Park Lot, Witherspoon Municipal Lot, and by Palmer Square, with free parking at the Hulfish Garage and Chambers Street Garage from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
