Blacklick Bend Farm is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable barn hand. We are a Hunter/Jumper Show Facility. We have great clients and horses. Looking for: Experienced hand in working with horses Must be passionate about their job and horses Basic horse care knowledge Detail oriented to notice little things and must care about whats best for the horses Must be reliable and accountable Willing to learn Hard working Team player Can possibly be flexible to cover and pick up shifts to gain more hours ***Need Someone available for weekends(Saturday and Sunday)and Mondays and Fridays Should be willing to: Clean stalls Water buckets(scrubbing and filling) Blanket Changes Putting boots and bell boots on Turning out and bringing in horses Toss Hay Drop grain etc Willing to do extra tasks around the barn to help keep up with horse care and barn care:) Experience driving the tractor, spreader and dragging the arena is a definite plus Full time position/ part time positions possible for the right fit.
