We are calling for leaders and allies in the AAPI community to stand with us in support of a restorative process which humanizes all. SF NAACP, SF Black Wall Street, Faith-Based Coalition, SFUSD Teachers, Faculty, Parent, Students, and other community stakeholders join the calls for solidarity, unity and peace. We cannot let this moment to be hijacked by those that have a divisive political agenda. Vice President Collins’ fight for racial equity at Lowell High School has made her a target for many who are unapologetically doing all in their power to protect their privilege and elitism. In this time, our communities need to come together to have much-needed conversations about race, equity, and solidarity. In responding to the call to fight for racial justice, we must also practice empathy across our communities. This is a time for us to come together and strengthen our communities in the face of division and hatred.
