Job details From $18 an hour (Class B) Qualifications High school or equivalent (Required) Driver's License (Required) Driving: 1 year (Preferred) Full Job Description Looking for a driver to operate a delivery truck to help make ice deliveries. Deliveries are in the Central PA area to local grocery stores, mini markets and construction sites. This SEASONAL job lasts thru September. We have distribution centers in York, and Harrisburg. Clean driving record is a must. You need to also be able to lift 40 lbs at a time. A typical day could move as much as 20,000 lbs. Delivery day normally entails 7am to completion of deliveries. Completion of deliveries is around 2:00 to 5:00pm generally. All depends on weather and staffing availability. A typical work week entails working 5 or 6 days a week Monday to Saturday. Be prepared to work all 7 days the week of July 4th. On the job training will be provided for the following: Operating a small truck Operating an electric pallet jack Responsibilities: Check product for quality Stack bags in an orderly manner Rotate old product Defrost ice boxes Display a positive company image Other job tasks can include: Sorting pallets Fixing pallets Re stacking part skids of ice A typical work week entails working 5 or 6 days a week Monday to Saturday. Be prepared to work all 7 days the week of July 4th.
