ORLAND PARK, IL — The Consolidated Elections are just days away. Residents in Orland Park will be given the opportunity to select a new mayor, clerk, school boards, library board and more.
While driving down the roads in Orland Park you may see campaign signs appearing on lawns and on the edges of busy streets. Although residents can partake in early voting at the Orland Township — 14807 S. Ravinia Ave., Orland Park — and other locations around suburban Cook County, many will traditionally vote on April 6.
The Orland School District 135 school board race is one to watch, as six candidates are looking to claim a seat this April. Some candidates took the opportunity to complete the Patch candidate survey, so voters may learn a bit more about their campaigns. Take a look at the candidates who filled out the survey, below.
