Driver/Team Lead Position Overview The Driver/Team Lead is the on site leader during moves, and will be the main point of contact for the customer; including but not limited to complaints, expectations and logistics. Establish positive rapport with customers. The driver/team lead will be the on site concierge for customers, as well as main contact with MWM dispatchers. He/she is responsible for ensuring that all Midwest Movers processes and protocols are followed and adhered to by the team of moving consultants. Our driver/team lead will set the high standard for the move with energy, enthusiasm, integrity, communication skills, leadership, and attention to detail. Responsibilities/Expectations Check team members’ uniforms Check equipment: Furniture Pads/Dollies/Wrap/Four wheelers/Packing Material Customer Paperwork: BIll of Lading(if necessary)/Estimate(if applicable)/Inventory list/ Valuation Addendum(if necessary) Hydration Time Manager Truck can leave dispatching station only when all checks are completed by the driver/team lead, (a minimum of one hour before the pre scheduled start time of the move) Contact customer with ETA on day of move Drive truck Ensure wheel cones and chalks are around truck Meet customer once team has arrived to loading site for on site walkthrough Provide customer with all necessary paperwork Ensure all home protection material is placed at loading/unloading destinations Be main point of contact for duration of move for customer Disassemble furniture if applicable Manage inventory list Photograph each finished/emptied room Suggest any add on or up sale that customer requires Collect Payment at conclusion of move. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out our website @ themidwestmovers.com Text, Call, or Email!
