The Aurora resident was a passenger in a Buick Regal heading south on Route 31 early Saturday morning when they saw the Jetta "driving in an aggressive manner," police said.
The driver of the Jetta drove up next to the Aurora residents' vehicle and fired a gun, striking the passenger, police said. The victims made a U-turn and called police, while the Jetta was last seen driving west on a nearby side street, the release states.
