GENEVA, IL — Geneva police are searching for a driver who reportedly shot at two Aurora residents — injuring one — early Saturday morning during a road-rage incident. A 30-year-old from Aurora was treated just after 1:30 a.m. Saturday for a "minor graze wound" after someone driving a dark Volkswagen Jetta shot into their vehicle, police said in a news release. Pedestrian Killed In Hit-And-Run; Aurora Police Search For Driver The Aurora resident was a passenger in a Buick Regal heading south on Route 31 early Saturday morning when they saw the Jetta "driving in an aggressive manner," police said. The driver of the Jetta drove up next to the Aurora residents' vehicle and fired a gun, striking the passenger, police said. The victims made a U-turn and called police, while the Jetta was last seen driving west on a nearby side street, the release states. Police Chief Named New Kane County Treasurer The 30-year-old was treated near the site of the shooting, police said. The Geneva Police Department is asking anyone with information about the shooting to call 630-232-4736.
