PROFORM is hiring ambitious Entry Level and Senior Level auto enthusiasts familiar with small block engines and their components. According to your skills, this job is a combination of Automotive Technician, Automotive Mechanic, Customer Service, and Warehouse Associate: learning to answer customers’ tech questions while performing warehousing operations (picking, packing, labeling, scanning), product packaging, and shipping packages via UPS, FedEX, and truck. Forklift experience a plus. Entry Level: NEW STARTING WAGE $16.00 per hour! Includes paid training. Senior Level: This position differs from Entry Level by offering a higher starting wage based on experience, requiring in-depth knowledge and/or experience in the high-performance automotive industry. Paid training Excellent health insurance coverage Paid time off (accrual of two weeks PTO for first year of service) Personal and sick time-off Paid holidays Matching pension plan Employee discounts Casual dress code Incentive payments Bonus Profit Sharing A career path offering increased income An opportunity to share your passion Hours/Days: Mon-Fri 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with overtime opportunities The right candidates for both positions need: Hands-on familiarity with small block engines and their components The ability to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers High school diploma or equivalent Responsibilities (Paid training offered): Deals with customers’ tech questions as described above Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for shipment Organizes shipment priorities, such as UPS or commercial carrier. Assists in loading and unloading trucks Receives shipments, logs into inventory, maintains inventory Locates manufacturer’s packing list, verifies receipt of each item listed, signs and attaches packing list to each bill of lading. Signs and dates freight bills noting all adjustments and/or damage to product and reports any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person. Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, and fellow workers. Moves all inventory into allocated spaces within warehouse. Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification. Assists in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently. Processes returns accurately. Participates in product knowledge and company meetings as required by management. Assists in keeping facility secure. Maintains proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required. Other duties as assigned.
