Can no longer care for special needs pup. Will be carefully vetting home, open to rescues taking her. Bailey is an 11mo old Beagle Mix puppy. She is up to date on all veterinary care, shots and is spayed. She is very loving, sweet and smart. She loves kids, people, dogs and get along with but barks at cats. She was paralyzed as a puppy in hurricane Laura. She can tolerate being in her wheelchair outside for 1 - 1 1/2 hours a day. Bailey is a chewer and has chewed holes in our sofa when i have left her loose in the living room for very brief periods of time. The reason we need to find a home asap is my son has significant medical needs and can not tolerate her barking. I have another child that has autism and is extremely terrified of dogs. He did well with Bailey at first but has been having major issues the past month. Bailey has a lot of stuff that we have bought and plan to send with her. Therefore I would prefer for a rescue to find and vet a home for her if possible.
