Join us for this installment of Backyard Farm School to learn everything you need to know to raise your own flock of chickens in the city! Instructors: Hanna Mosca of Grow Pittsburgh & Tara Rockacy of Churchview Farm There are many great benefits to raising chickens in your backyard. Chickens are inexpensive and easy to maintain, and their eggs are beautiful, great-tasting & nutritious. Participants will leave this workshop with the knowledge they need to raise their own flock. --- Backyard Farm School is an expanded monthly learning series, put on by Churchview Farm and Grow Pittsburgh. Farmers Tara (Churchview) and Hanna (Grow Pittsburgh) will be joined by local chefs and special guest farmers to lead this season-long workshop series. ***All of our workshops will take place outside and follow guidelines for social distancing. Masks are required of all attendees.***
