Looking for a general mechanic who is interested in learning gear work or experienced gear mechanic. Excellent opportunity to train for gear work for 5 ton and over transmissions and differentials. Duties include, but not limited to, tearing down units, inspecting parts, washing parts, and rebuilding units. Ability to answer phone and work directly with the customer to meet their needs. Additional duties may include shop organization, replacing inventory, and general maintenance on equipment. Welding and machining experience a plus but will train. This is a busy, high-energy shop. Pay is dependent on experience. Random drug testing.
