Acosta Wealth Management is pleased to announce Junior Planning Analyst Candice Carrizales passed the prestigious Certified Financial Planner® examination. The CFP® examination tests on, among other things, financial planning process and principles, tax planning, income and retirement planning, estate planning, risk management and insurance. At Acosta Wealth Management, Carrizales works with clients to build and maintain wealth by helping craft personalized plans tailored to meet their life goals. “I love helping people build the future they want with financial planning that really considers their entire circumstances and dreams,” said Carrizales. “The training, education and experience that went into passing the CFP® examination will help me do that for even more clients.” Carrizales joined Acosta Wealth Management in July, after spending nearly eight years at GEICO, where she held positions of increasing responsibility. The Oxnard native received her Certificate in Financial Planning from Benedictine University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from California State University-Northridge. Acosta Wealth Management Founder and President Abiel Acosta, CFP®, CBEC® said: “We’re proud of Candice, who spent hundreds of hours preparing for and then passing the comprehensive examination with the final goal of becoming a CFP® certificant. We look forward to working with her as she takes on more responsibilities.” When she isn’t working, Carrizales enjoys spending time with her family, reading and checking out new eateries.
