I am forming an promotional agency based around the contacts I have from my previous positions. For five years I led a medical support group and I am still working with numerous cultural arts organizations (once they open their doors again!). From this I have over 400 contacts in the medical and cultural arts. I want to affiliate myself with graphic designers, video producers and social media people. If you have some web development savvy all the better. But not necessary. I am now approaching the doctors and arts organizations individually. I get the accounts, do the account executive/liaison work and most of the content and copywriting. I am casting my net out now for graphic designers and video and social media producers. If you have web development skills it is a bonus. I already have three people I am working with, but can use new perspectives. I am seeking both those seeking a long term affiliation or just project by project as availability permits. This does not have to be your only project, but for some of the people involved it will be. This is a good opportunity for those with some to a moderate amount of experience. For the first month this will be strictly for the creation of spec spots. This is a good portfolio builder for those with less experience. I know how to gain the accounts and write - I need help with design, social media, video and to a lesser degree web development. If you are ultra-experienced in design etc. with a long portfolio, don't call me with your rates and ask what projects I have ready for you. Of course I will work with you, but be prepared to help set this up at least a little bit. BTW I am really easy to work with and this is going to be very enjoyable. And profitable.
