PHOENIX, AZ — A person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a shooting west of downtown Phoenix on Monday, according to the Phoenix Police Department. The suspect in the shooting, which occurred near the intersection of 19th Avenue and Buckeye Road, fled the scene and remains on the loose, police said.
