Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 03/29/2021   On Monday March 29, 2021 at around 1:00am officers responded to 345 Lanier St NW on a report of a person shot. On scene officers spoke to the victim, Svante Wright, age 33, with a gunshot wound. The victim told officers he went to a house in the area to purchase marijuana. The suspect came to the door of the house and the pair met outside to complete their transaction. During the transaction a dispute arose and the suspect shot the victim. The victim fled on foot and sought help. The victim is in stable condition and the investigation is continuing.
