Great Company needs a Recycling Process Employee to help Managers provide leadership for department personnel. This is a 12 hour shift This is a hands on role assisting Managers with day to day duties. Recycling Duties; GRINDER- Monitor all parameters of grinders to ensure throughput is maximized and blade changes are proactively planned. SORTERS AND FORKLIFT OPERATORS- Day-to-day management of temp staff including training and team building. GMP- Schedule refreshers and trainings for all employees; discipline as needed. o Responsible for following food safety requirements of the facility. o Zero GMP violations per month. INVENTORY- Ensure all inventory records are up to date and all products are organized. SAFETY- Monitor and evaluate Recycling safety program with the guidance of EHS Manager for PPE, training, equipment and signage requirements. o Make necessary changes to affected programs including evaluating vendors and comparing products. TRAINING- New hire training: sorting, equipment, safety, GMP. WASTE STUDIES- Physical material studies, Conduct analyses of BHS byproducts and residues to ensure maximum recovery of commodities. o Maintain regular schedule of waste studies to ensure up-to-date information is always available. PRODUCTION IMPROVEMENT o Day to day oversight and co-ownership of sort and grind operation to exceed equipment production expectations. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.5+ years stable work experience in a related manufacturing setting, with 3+ years in asupervisory/leadership role.SQF, HACCP background is a plusCannot be sensitive to smells or noise Schedule is as follows;12 hour shifts Overtime pay after 8th hour of each shift Send your resume to Ida at or call 805-636-9049 Volt in an Equal Opportunity Employer
