Donovan's Dogs is hiring a team member to help with playgroups. This is a very fun job, but it's also a physically demanding job. We walk at least 5 miles per day and climb lots of stairs. Heat waves or blizzards, we take the pack to the park. Team members need to enjoy being outdoors and exercising in all types of weather. Here is a rundown of a typical day: We meet in the morning at 10:30 am to receive keys and receive your list of dogs for the day. At 10:45 am each team member leaves to pick up his or her assigned dogs and meets at the park for 30 minutes of playtime. Then we take the dogs home and repeat the process with the second group. If you are scheduled for Evening Walks, you will take a lunch break and start again at 4:30 pm. You will be finished with Evening Walks by 6: 30/7: 30pm. You will need to help with Evening Walks a few shifts per week. There are plenty of hours for people who show up on time with a good attitude. We work hard, but have lots of fun! The requirements of the job are: 1- You must love dogs! 2- You must live near Hoboken and have a cell phone with an email / text plan- no prepaid phones. 3- You must be available to work seven days per week between the hours of 9:30 am-7:30pm. 4-You must be physically fit and enjoy being outdoors in all types of weather. 5- You must commit to work for one year. 6- You must undergo a criminal background check and provide references from previous employers. These will be checked.
