What might have changed since USPS delivered twice a day

There might be a much greater volume of junk mail than there used to be. If that's the case, I say if people want to send junk mail, they should do it via a separate postal service rather than the USPS. That might solve the whole problem. Then we might be able to go back to mail delivery twice a day and the USPS will not be squeezed financially anymore.
