Fastest Growing Automotive business in the Harrisonburg area seeking the right candidates to fill an open position as auto body technicians in our new well equipped service facility. This job is fast paced with time-line production being a key element of the day to day tasks. 3 Current Open Positions: Seeking 1 candidate for prep work helper, taping up cars prior to painting, cleaning, disassembly & re assembly. No experience necessary, just a general mechanical knowledge will be a must. An ideal candidate should be able to replace damaged: mirrors, bumpers, fenders, headlights & re assemble with confidence. Seeking a second candidate that can perform body repairs, panel welding through paint preparation. Ideally we would like to hire an energetic team worker that has been through an auto body/mechanical technician program at one of the technical centers. If working on cars is your thing, I want to talk with you! Pay will be hourly with a heavy influence based upon production. Starting pay will be based upon experience and what skills you can bring to our team. Requirements: -Clean Driving Record. -Clean Back Ground Check -You Must Be Reliable (We are zero tolerance on no shows). -Drive to accomplish assigned projects. -Ability to learn new things when challenged. -Ability to be Self motivated. -Someone who can follow direction. We are looking for someone who can: -Assess the vehicle damages or needs -Develop a plan of corrective action -Do body repairs from start to primer -Perform any panel welding or replacement as necessary -Perform any vehicle or panel disassembly required -Have every vehicle in primer, blocked, prepped for paint, taped up and ready to be painted. -Some Painting Experience/knowledge is a Bonus for this position as painting demand will steadily increase. -The ability to wet sand and buff clear In addition to the auto body skills, we need someone who can repair light mechanical items on vehicles and the eagerness to jump in and help out when demand is needed in other departments.
