Bass player testing the waters.......

Description

Solid, in the pocket, bass player looking for a band. Preferences are classic rock, but will play other genres. New band or established bands are ok. I was recently in a great band that took 1.5 years to put together, and three days before our debut gig, I came down with covid pneumonia and was hospitalized for 6 weeks. End of band. So, looking to join or start another great band! Pros: Im semi retired, middle-aged, extremely dependable, my vehicles do not break down, I have money to help pay for rehearsal space if necessary, no substance abuse issues, respectful, laid back, and love to rock out. I would like to be an equal member of a band, thus helping shape the song list, and not just brought in to play what you want. I learn my part at home and am ready to play at practice. My preference is practicing 1-2 a week, preferably on weekends, and gig 1-2 times a month. I like to make the best of practices, so Id like to play a minimum of three hours per practice (with breaks of course). Cons: I do not live in Boise so I am typically available Thur - Sun in Boise. I can make occasional changes but I prefer weekends. While I am far from a "liberal snowflake", do NOT contact me if: - You think the virus is hoax - You are anti mask - You own a MAGA hat or still have your Trump sign up in from of your house - You are member of Al Qaeda, Proud Boys, Antifa, or another extreme group - You think student loans should be forgiven - You have substance abuse issues - You cant afford gas or practice space - You are a bipolar, conspiracy driven drummer (you know who you are) - You can't practice for more than 2 hours at a pop - You are a St Louis Cardinals fan - You think golf sucks I know Ive probably alienated most of Boise with the above, but what the hell! I like to live life dangerously. Stay safe and wear your mask!
