Overview Better Wages! Better Benefits! Better Training! AND Weekly Pay! Job Description COME JOIN OUR TEAM! LACOSTA is looking for 1st and 2nd Shift Production Operators in Sycamore, IL! Full Time Position with Benefits and Weekly Pay! Schedule: Monday through Friday. 10 Hour Shifts (50 Hours Per Week). First Shift is 4:30am to 3pm. Second shift is from 3:30pm to 2am. Starting Pay: $15/hr. Production Operators are responsible for the safety of operations, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems and machines that produce high quality ingredients and solutions to the food and beverage industries. The employee frequently lifts and/or move products ranging from 30 to 55 pounds. The work environment is one with fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust. During the shift you will wear a lab coat to protect your clothing, safety glasses, safety shoes, ear plugs and a hard hat. You will need to provide your own safety shoes but we will provide everything else. If you need to buy a pair of safety shoes, we reimburse up to $50 after 90 days. In addition, this job also operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Background checks and drug screens will be conducted.
