Please help rehome our dog

Description

It is sad to say that I need to rehome our dog. Lacey is a two year old (as of this January) female bullmastiff and pitbull mix. Lacey is not fixed and is not up to date on her shots. Please understand that we are struggling and can not afford to do this for her. Lacey is good with kids including my nephew that she has been around since he was a year old. The only issue is she will jump and knock them over but that can be fixed with training exercises if you have the time to put in the work. Lacey gets along with other dogs but she gets very hyper around dogs and can sometimes overwhelm them with her rough play style but she has never hurt another dog. If you have an elderly or very lazy dog who does not like to play, she is probably not the best dog for your family. She is potty trained and crate trained. She will use the restroom outdoors and she will sleep in her crate as well as relax there while you do work around the house or have other things to do including when you’re not home. Lacey will come with her stainless steel food bowls and her food mat that keeps her from making too much of a mess. She did rip a piece of it off but it still works fine. She is used to eating dry kibble and does well on any food she’s eaten. She is not picky for the most part. She’s not a huge fan of fish but if that’s all she can have she will eat it. CONDITIONS TO ADOPT LACEY:: - A $50 rehoming fee is necessary to help me feel more assured that you will be willing to pay for her and her expenses when needed. - I would really like vet references. I don’t mind if you don’t vaccinate or fix your past animals because that is your business and your beliefs. I would just like to see that your past animals have been checked up every now and then or that they have received medical care when necessary. If you or someone you know might be interested in helping us then please contact me. It’s easier for me to reply to text messages and I can meet you somewhere for you to pick her up. Thank you so much for reading and please help us find her a good home.
