Description
The Weld County Sheriff's Office is searching for a Custodial Lead Worker for the jail. Will manage jail trustees with custodial duties. $18.09 per hour.
Days/hours: Sunday through Thursday; 8:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
MUST PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK, POLYGRAPH AND DRUG SCREEN
Must direct employees placed under the responsible charge of this position. Assist in the performance of the duties assigned to the work force.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
supervising the trustees to do the following (you must have experience or general knowledge of the duties):
• Sweep, mop, scrus, and vacuum hallways, stairs and office space.
• Wax and polish floors.
• Empty trash and garbage containers.
• Notifiy management concerning need for minor repairs or maintenance needs.
• Keep assigned work area stocked with proper supplies.
• Experience using a carpet extractor a plus.
• Perform related work as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Experience:
Six months janitorial/custodial experience preferred but not required.
The Weld County Sheriff's Office prohibits employees from having visible body markings (including but not limited to tattoos, body art, and branding) on the head, face, neck, hand and fingers (any area below the wrist bone).
Must be able to pass background check, polygraph and drug screen.
Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's License.
