I was watching a program the other night and the panel was discussing how so many people can believe the most outlandish lies and continue to be happy to be duped every day. The professional psychologist on the panel explained it this way; When people hear lies loud enough and long enough they start to believe the lies as witnessed in 1910's Russia, 1930's Germany, Cuba, Korea and other nations that fell victim to fascism. But the REAL rub is when the individual has been broken/brainwashed enough then they will lap up anything the propaganda machine spouts off no matter how ridiculous and outright false it is. You could see it during the whole trump administration. donald trump told over 35,000 verifiable false statements (that's a lie for you trump university graduates) and the magaTARDs believed every one of them culminating in the BIG LIE about the election being stolen. So many of his followers believed that lie that they are now looking at long term prison sentences for sedition, others have been disfranchised from society for there abject stupidity.
