Job description: Seeking a seasonal foreman for a dock & boat installation/repair company that services customers on multiple lakes in the southern Minneapolis metro area. Could turn into a year-round position for the right candidate. Our company is like family - we treat each other with respect, and we have fun doing the work together. Job responsibilities: Must be PUNCTUAL, RESPONSIBLE, a QUICK LEARNER, and a TEAM PLAYER. Must be able-bodied and physically active/fit. Being handy with tools, boat equipment, or mechanics is a HUGE PLUS. Job requirements: MUST like manual labor - let’s be very clear about that. You will likely be in a wetsuit everyday, working alongside 2-3 other foreman, attaching chains to customers’ boat lifts, and guiding customers’ equipment to their shoreline with the help of a crane barge. It’s fun work, but it’s work. Must be able to lift and carry ~80 lbs. Some climbing. Job details: Hours are Monday - Friday; 30-40+ hours/week (with some flexibility for additional work on the weekends). MUST be able to work the majority of shifts, if not all shifts. Hours are flexible, but typically 8:00am - 5:00pm everyday, Mon - Fri. Job compensation: Your training period (usually 2 weeks) will pay $15/hr. After 2 weeks, you will have a review and your rate will be $15 - $20/hr DOE.
