Retail & Merchandising Store Associate (Flexible Hours- Contracted) Company Description: Bloom Collective is making space to engage the community and give life to otherwise empty retail locations. We aim to collaborate with makers and creatives across the board to host one of a kind pop-up experiences that will become a temporary home base for passionate minds across our small business community. Our newest project brings us to Bow Market located in Somerville, MA as we set up shop from April to July. Job Summary: We are looking to hire multiple retail store associates to assist us from April 15, 2021 to July 5, 2021 in Somerville, MA. Retail store associates are responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience demonstrated by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying customer experience principles and philosophy, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Responsibilities: • Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect • Accurately rings customer purchases • Promotes social media contact during customer interactions • Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following discussed procedures and standards • Maintains all organizational and cleanliness standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store • Provides and accepts ongoing recognition and constructive feedback • Checks in vendors and manages any weekend pop-ups • Performs other duties as assigned Requirements: • Retail customer experience preferred • Must be 16 years or older • Possesses excellent customer service, strong communication and organizational skills. • Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs • Capable of handling multiple tasks at one time • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations • Reliable transportation required
