Hello folks... so I'm getting ready to jump into a lot of improvement projects for my home and one of my rentals, both located in Ballard. I need some temporary help. This would be perfect for someone who is not currently working due to the pandemic but will likely be going back to work soon. My budget for a helper is about $3000. As far as a time commitment, I'm guessing it will be a month's worth of work (4x40hr weeks) so that comes out to just about $19/hr but I'm negotiable depending on what you bring as far as skills (have your own circular saw and tools and know how to use them? That's worth more to me.) I can pay weekly, biweekly or monthly. This is general help so the skills I need are someone who is dependable, can lift 40lbs without any problem, and can work independently once the routine is established. The job includes; demolition work, construction assistance, painting, general cleaning and some yard clean up work. I'm ripping out the kitchen in one of my rentals and doing an upgrade and finishing up a rooftop deck on my personal residence (which is directly behind the rental) with built in planters, a hot tub and walking surface. So that's it... hope to find someone within the next couple of weeks. We can start any time. Thank you kind folks and stay safe out there. (And BTW... had my second vaccination about a week ago. Will take the appropriate precautions while we're working together.)
