Express is hiring for a Lumber Laborer in Snohomish! Responsibilities include stacking, banding, and securing lumber, working outdoors, and performing other general labor duties as needed. Bi-lingual Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply! This is a temporary position that could turn into a long-term, evaluation to hire for the right candidate. Lumber Laborer Location: Snohomish Rate of pay: $15.00 per hour to start; pay increases after the probationary period and is based upon performance and attendance. Schedule: Monday – Friday: 6:00am until job complete, up to 8-10 hours per day. Overtime on Saturdays as needed. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Basic general labor -Moves and secures lumber products and other materials according to instructions -Stacks finished products according to predetermined bundle sizes and/or customer requirements -Labels material based on the following specifications: type, size, and count -Bands, bundles, and secures material, including attaching corner protectors and loading sticks -Follows instructions for stacking material properly and according to company policy and customer requirements -Maintains a clean and organized work area -Assists with other work areas by moving material, loading, and unloading material carts -Other duties as assigned What you need to be successful: -Comfortable doing repetitive movements for the entire shift -Comfortable working in an outside environment -Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred by not required -Team player -Lift 60 pounds regularly -High school diploma/GED preferred but not required -No minimum experience is required, but manufacturing or lumber experience is preferred -Working knowledge of basic math -Display effective communication skills in English, including but not limited to, written and verbal Benefits, Perks, and more: -Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits -Supplemental medical benefits -401(k) with company matching -Paid holidays after 60 days -Employee stock purchase program -Vacation time after one year Interested?
