Alpine Arborists Tree Care is accepting applications for the 2021 tree work season. Our season begins in mid-April and goes to mid-December depending on the weather. Alpine Arborists Tree Care is a full service tree service that pays particular detail to safety, quality of work and customer service. AATC is fully insured (workers comp for all) and licensed. We are a TCIA member and an ISA member. All tree work adheres to ANSI A300 tree work standards and Z133 safety standards. Our zone goes from Emerald Bay to Incline Village on the west shore and Squaw/Alpine and Truckee on the north shore. Tree Climber Position: must have own basic climbing gear. Applicant must be competent in tree removals and rigging, spike less pruning (SRT/DRT) and ornamental tree pruning. Climbers will climb most days but be expected to help with clean-up work, (chipping and wood hauling) when not climbing. Pay is DOE. Starting pay is $22-$32 per hour. Ground Worker position: must have acceptable outdoor work clothes and sturdy boots. Experience is a plus but no experience is necessary, will train on the job. Ground workers will be expected to drag and chip brush, load and haul wood, rake up debris, occasionally use chain saws, drive trucks and maintain and organizing equipment. Pay is DOE. Starting pay $18-$22 per hour. For both positions, applicant must be in good physical health and must be able to lift at least 75 pounds frequently through out the day. Applicant must pass DMVR screen before hire (CLEAN DRIVING RECORD with VALID DL), medical evaluation for DOT card and background check. Must have reliable transportation and must be willing to work with others, listen to instruction and have a positive attitude. Yard/Office is in Tahoma, must be able and ready for work in Tahoma at 7:45! We offer paid holidays during the season, 3 paid sick days and simple IRA after two seasons.
