This position is based out of NJ - Our Mid Mile Drivers pick up the trucks in Avenel, NJ and bring them into NYC. They ensure the Delivery Associates take out the deliveries - our Mid Mile Drivers DON'T MAKE DELIVERIES! Just drive our trucks and make sure others get the work done! We deliver more than packages. Position Summary: Dutch-X is looking for Non-CDL Box Truck Drivers with knowledge of the New York tri-state area to transport packages with timeliness and professionalism. The following minimum responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Responsible for safe, inter-state transport of pre-loaded client merchandise • Unloading client merchandise at work site • Completing safety inspections at start of shifts • Clearly and effectively communicating with team • Thrive in a fast-paced environment • Flexibility to meet the operating needs of the company Physical requirements: • Ability to drive truck of up to 26ft • Ability to turn, bend, kneel and lift client merchandise of up to 50Ibs in weight • Ability to adhere to established safety guidelines Qualifications: • 3+ years of box truck driving experience (required) • Valid driver’s license • Medical DOT card required or ability to obtain it • Must be 21 years of age or older • High School or equivalent degree (preferred) Dutch-X is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
