Job description: Crew Member. U.S. LAWNS has been in the commercial landscape management business for 25 years. We provide full-service landscape management for commercial properties and municipalities. Our services include landscape management, irrigation management, fertilization, pest control, seasonal color design & installation and select services (mulch & custom services). U.S. LAWNS of Kansas City is currently searching for Crew Members for its location in Raymore, MO. The ideal candidate must have at least 1+ yrs experience as a Crew Member. We are searching for someone who has strong leadership qualities and a strong sense of safety for themselves, their crew and those around them. Job responsibilities to include: Field Operation Report to work on time. Change and sharpen blades safely. Remove loose trash and debris from landscape area before mowing. Remove weeds from sidewalks, curb lines, and mulch beds. Remove dead flower heads from annual and perennial flowers. Fuel equipment daily and record fuel usage. Report property damage to Foreman or Lead Person. Help crew load and unload equipment at the job site. Review and sign time sheet weekly. Remove tree suckers Job Requirements Education, training, experience: Candidate should be a motivated team player Experience with zero-turn mowers a plus Experience with string trimmers and back-pack blowers a plus Ability and desire to work outside in hot and humid conditions Ability to lift 50lbs Ability to work long hours during mowing season Clean driving record and license a plus This is a seasonal position with ability to become full-time for motivated individual who wants to make green industry a career Pays Overtime for 40+ Hours Medical Insurance for Full Time Employee (50% Paid By Company) Most Saturdays Off Please email or call to set job interview.
