In search of a Forever Home: Lucky is a 15 pound Terrier Mix (probably with Corgi) senior dog. Gets along well with other pets, people, and children. He is an easy going, low maintenance dog that is content knowing that his human family is nearby. Totally house trained, happy, and well behaved. Very much and indoor dog, excellent on a leash, and enjoys going for walks. Lucky was a stray, abandoned by his first family. Vet estimates that he is about 9 years old. He came to us heartworm positive and is responding well to slow kill treatment. We learned that Lucky is also deaf. It breaks our heart to rehome him, but we are just not able to provide care for him at this time. Please reach out with any questions and to express interest in welcoming Lucky into your home.
