OSC Technical is looking to hire 2 cable technicians immediately to run and terminate cable for several projects over the next month. Must be available immediately and have a flexible schedule. More projects most likely after that.
Description:
Creating cable pathways (j-hooks, beam clamps, pound-ons, straps, cable ties, etc.)
Running copper data cable (fiber a plus but not necessary) in ceilings, through walls, and in conduit.
Drilling through concrete, metal, wood, and using hammer drills and drill bits for each type. Sealing and fire blocking.
Terminating RJ45 mod-ends, keystone jacks, CAT5/6 patch panels and working with 66/110 blocks and cross connects. (fiber termination with fusion splicers and unicam kits a plus but not necessary)
Installing mud rings, faceplates and surface mount boxes, including biscuit jacks.
Installing wall mount and floor mount racks (fiber enclosures a plus but not necessary)
Excellent cable management skills and clean work with good labeling.
Installation of wireless access points, cameras, switches, or other endpoints helpful.
Note: If you don't show up to work, do not have good work ethic, do not take pride in your work and are lazy please do not apply. Must be drug and alcohol free while on the job. (We have had our share of these type of techs lately)

We start everyone at 20hr. on your first project with us and are happy to pay more as you demonstrate good skills, teamwork, and work ethic.
