Tank Car Cleaner Position (Elmendorf, TX) compensation: $17 per hour employment type: full-time FULL TIME POSITION (40 HRS/WEEK) This position will have constant exposure to noise and extreme temperatures while working in and around tank cars. Tank car cleaners will be entering a confined space to remove solids and residuals of the interior of tank cars with hand tools and pressure washers. This position will require you to vertical climb ladders, lifting of at least 50 lbs, pulling, pushing hoses, crouching and crawling under railcars. Manway entry is approximately 19” in diameter. All training and PPE will be provided. *Full Medical/Dental/Vision benefits are available to all employees. We do not offer any part time positions. There is no per-diem or housing provided as this is a full time position and you must live in the area and have your own transportation to get to and from work daily. Must be clean shaven for respirator use. Must be able to rotate between day and night shift biannually. If you cannot handle hard labor, please do not apply. NO Phone calls.
