Construction Yard/Delivery Driver

Construction company currently looking for full time Monday through Friday construction yard help/delivery driver. Year round work both indoors and outdoors. Qualifications: -High School Diploma or GED -Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record -Previous forklift experience preferred -Previous experience with building materials preferred -Prior mechanical experience or mechanically inclined -Ability to lift 50+lbs regularly Functions: -Maintain adequate level of warehouse supplies -Diagnose, quote and repair equipment -Receive, clean and inspect tools and equipment returning from jobs -Receive daily deliveries, ensuring quality of materials as well as accuracy of quantities -Deliver supplies and equipment to jobsites throughout southern Wisconsin/northern Illinois -Load/unload trucks with material and equipment for job sites -Keeping the shop/yard organized and clean Requirements: -Need to be punctual and on time for their assigned duties. Early morning start times. -Pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug screens -Must be able to lift heavy building materials up to 60lbs repeatedly -Ability to work overtime when required -Candidate must be organized, pay attention to detail, possess good communication skills and project positivity in the work place -Knowledge of the construction field is preferred Other Duties: -Keep yard clean and organized -Label materials for designated jobs/projects -Cut material to length when needed -Forklift maintenance - Ensure forklift truck batteries are charged and proper water levels -Equipment maintenance -Create and maintain a safe work environment, ensuring safety policies are always practiced and enforced.
