Job Description: -Marine construction work including basic carpentry and general labor. -Traveling onboard company’s vessels, keeping a proper lookout, assisting with tying lines, and assisting captain when necessary. -Assisting in loading various cargo onto barges, landing craft, work boats, and equipment trailers. -Maintenance of equipment and vessels. Requirements: -Valid NYS drivers license. -Reliable transportation. -Pass pre-employment drug test and enrollment in random drug testing program. -Must be able to work outside year-round in all conditions. -Climb ladders. -Use of power and hand-held tools. Preferred: -Construction experience. -Commercial marine experience. -Ability to work independently with minimum direction. -Strong verbal and written communication skills.
