Site Superintendent Summary of Position We are looking for a qualified Superintendent for projects in the Treasure Valley and Valley County areas of Idaho. Site Superintendents will supervise all on-site construction and provide on-site coordination for all phases of construction projects for Cedar and Sage Homes. You will be responsible for scheduling subcontractors, coordinating materials and equipment, job site safety is being enforced, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, inspecting all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Qualifications & Requirements You must have previous construction management experience or other related fields with strong organizational and people skills. You must possess strong leadership and negotiation skills. A thorough knowledge of all trades is a plus and familiarity with construction management software is preferred. Typical job tasks Schedule subcontractors, and vendors in a critical path to ensure timely completion. Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed. Communicate with the project/procurement team regarding bid awardment, change orders and materials throughout the project. Ensure that subcontractors fully execute and comply with the contracted scope of work within company and industry standards. Coordinate required inspections in accordance with County jurisdictions. Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution. Maintain and manage project schedules (in Buildertrend) in accordance with a completion date. Maintain a daily log (in Buildertrend) of activities on each project. Perform Superintendent duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards. Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors in regard to quality of workmanship or scheduling. Manage in house labor resources. Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner. Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
