In search of good ratter

Looking for a younger small breed ratter for rural home. The 2 current pups have done a great job throughout the years but both are getting up there in age being 17 and 15 years old so are retired from being ratters. Would live as a house dog and loved indoor pet but would like an under 20 pounds terrier that can do what they're bred for and take out any rats that try to get in the garden. If you have a small dog good with other dogs and will love its owner for naps in a recliner but has that drive work please message me. Needs to be ok off leash if adult since we have acerage but no fence.
