PUBLIC EDUCATION ISSUES CAMPAIGN SEEKING PAID CANVASSER An issues campaign in Seminole County focused on the future of public education in Florida is seeking paid canvassers who can thrive in a dynamic, data-driven environment. This position is an entry-level position. No experience with canvassing or political work is necessary but is welcomed. This position will pay $15/hr and will require non-traditional hours (nights and weekends). Description of Duties: - Safe door-to-door canvassing in accordance with social distancing guidelines - Walking neighborhoods talking to voters - Accurate tracking of contact data on a daily basis using MiniVAN. Qualifications: This position is an entry-level position. No experience with canvassing or political work is necessary but is welcomed. Ideal candidates would possess the following characteristics: - Passionate about public education in Florida Possesses strong communication skills - Enjoys walking for multiple hours and talking to new people - Able to work productively on their own and manage time effectively - Interested in building change in their communities - Reliable transportation (required) - Smartphone (required) - Fluent in English (required) Pay Pay for the paid canvasser position is $15/hr.
