I need a couple of carpenters that can jack up an iBeam in a barn. The 6x8 metal iBeam is held up with two PT 6x6's. One side needs to go up about 2 inches and the other side about 6 inches. I have some jacks and posts two jack it up with. You can cut a 2x6 pt into 3 sections each 6" for one side and 1 section for the other side to extend the existing 6x6's. You will then need to climb a latter to slide the sections in between the iBeam and 6x6 post. There is not a good footing to jack up off of on one side so a temporary one needs to be used to jack up off of. It should take two people less than a couple hours at most. I have plenty of other small jobs here that we can follow up with if everything goes well. I will pay $400 or best offer.
