PC Events LLC in Atlantic City, NJ is looking for a variety of skill sets to join our team. Our ideal candidate is punctual, self-driven, motivated, and hard-working. The Steel Pier is a world class venue known for its entertainment as well as great food and excellent service. We welcome you to join the Food and Beverage team come rain or shine. Positions available: Back of House: Cleaning tables and clearing dishes Run food from the kitchen to concession stands Cleaning and clearing the food and beverage areas Assisting with washing dishes when needed Taking out the trash Busser: Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation. Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Clean up station and take care of leftover food Stock inventory Cashier: Greet customers Maintain a clean and tidy work area Accurately process all cash and credit payments Provide exceptional customer service Concession Food and Beverage: Set up/break down workstations Clean and sanitize workstations Prepare, cook, serve made to order concessionaire food Move product amongst workstations and warehouse Accurately process all cash and credit payments Follow health and safety guidelines Maintain a clean and tidy work area Other duties as assigned by management Provide exceptional customer service Concession Stand Associate: Set up/break down workstations Follow health and safety guidelines Maintain a clean and tidy work area Prepare food service ingredients Other duties as assigned by management Provide exceptional customer service Cook: Set up/break down workstations Follow health and safety guidelines Prepare ingredients for use during shift Other duties as assigned by management Dishwasher: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans using dishwashers or by hand Maintain a clean and tidy work area Follow health and safety guidelines Sort and stack clean dishes Carry clean dishes to proper storage areas Food Runner: Move product amongst workstations and warehouse Follow health and safety guidelines Maintain a clean and tidy work area Other duties as assigned by management Provide exceptional customer service Line Cook: Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation. Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Clean up station and take care of leftover food Stock inventory Prep Cook: Follow recipes and prepare simple dishes Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking Weigh and measure ingredients Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables Basic cooking functions such as kneading dough, and preparing sauces Label stock and inventory all ingredients Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas Qualifications: Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal Great organizational skills Proven work experience in desired role High integrity with a great attendance record Ability to listen and communicate effectively Ability to work in a fast paced and high volume location Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils Basic mathematical skills 18 years of age and older We are looking forward to receiving your application.
