JC Landscaping and Excavating, based out of Middleton, Idaho for 16 years and counting. Our buisiness is expanding quickly, and we are looking for skilled, professional individuals focused on building a career in landscape maintenance. People who are comfortable as part of a team but also have leadership experience would have room to grow in our company. Focused, hard work is something we value and reward in our company. We are also looking for employees who may not have the experience in landscape but are willing to work hard and learn quickly. Compensation: $16.50 per hour depending on experience. Potential to earn $20-22/hour + with long term employment. Employment type: Full-time, 40 - 50 hours per week M - F, No work on Saturdays, but some Sundays may be needed. This is a physically demanding job, and work will need to be done in all types of weather. While at work you must be able to: Have a valid drivers license Ability to lift over 50 pounds Perform manual/ physical labor in various aspects of the landscape industry (Masonry, planting, grading, excavating, mulching, maintenance, irrigation, light carpentry, etc) *Experience preferred in these areas Perform repetitive tasks Work steadily and focused, no phones or smoking unless on break Maintain a professional image of the company Reliable transportation Ability to follow instructions Be safe with equipment at all times Attention to detail and awareness of their surroundings Have a good work ethic and enjoy the outdoors For the right person this work is rewarding, though it is demanding and challenging at times.
