Vanlife Outfitters is hiring a part time warehouse worker (25 hrs/week M,W,F, 10AM-6PM) to assist in packaging and shipping various products we sell on our site. We are a fast growing startup e-commerce business that ships a variety of different products. This is a great opportunity that will quickly transition into a full time position where you will have more responsibility/be in charge of a warehouse crew and lead to a pay increase. Job Responsibilities:
1)Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
2)Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
3)Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
4) Complete and maintain various spreadsheets/logs to track inventory/orders.
5)Provides quality service by following organization standards.
6) Communicate and cooperate effectively with Supervisors and Co-Workers.
7)Pick up and deliver various appliances from our suppliers and deliver them to our warehouse.
Requirements(In order of importance)
1)Fluent in English.
2) Dependable, Reliable, Honest.
3)Previous working experience as a Warehouse Worker.
4)Good organizational and time management skills.
5)Experience with inventory tracking and willingness to learn certain shipping software.
6)Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
7)Ability to lift heavy objects.
