Offer to help one furbaby

I'm an active retired guy with flexible time...and I hope most would say..a good heart. Have no pets presently so....this is just an offer to "give back"....a bit. Maybe.....you need (only) temporary help with your four legged family member because of something unexpected - sickness, job loss, etc. Don't need anything in return; company of her/him will be my enjoyment..in addition to helping someone. (I'm a professional person with integrity...but please...if you're the cynical type, please...just move on; there ARE still honest people AND perhaps ONE person will appreciate this...for a few days...or even a few weeks.) Just need to know likes/dislikes of dog - food, etc. I'm in Greensboro, a homeowner...and live near a park (for exercise). Reply here will be fine.
